Sponsored post : Kiehl's super multi corrective eye opening serum

Hellow beauties!

I think it's been a while since I really wrote a proper and detail review.  It's not easy for me to get the right time and mood to write, especially since I became a mother of my super-active 2 y.o baby girl.  But I do really hope that you all get a proper information about the products I reviews here.

Soooo today highlight is the latest (well at least in Indonesia) eye products from Kiehl's that they sent to me a few weeks ago.

Say after me, Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum.  Once again, Kiehl's Super Multi Corrective Eye-opening Serum.   Duh! To be honest I hate how Kiehl's named their products.  It's always be superlong and complicated.   I find it hard for me to remember the exact name of their product.  When a friend ask me about Kiehl's products I use to answer with "oh.
I use the purple one, or the blue one".  Is it just me getting old or it happens to everyone?

Okay, enough complaining like an old lady.  Let's start the review!

Kiehl's SMCEOS (sorry, too lazy to write the full name) is formulated with botanically derived Rhamnose and sodium hyaluronate to lift, firm, smooth, hydrate and restore youthful shape of the eye.  Aaah... Sounds too perfect? This serum is also paraben free, mineral-oil free, fragrance free and colorant free.

I'm sure we are all familiar with sodium hyaluronate.  No? It's a sodium salt of hyaluronate acid.    Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in human body.  Hyaluronic acid gives skin volume by holding onto water.  As an anti-aging treatment, dermatologists inject it into the dermis of the skin to restore facial fullness in areas where volume is lost. Sodium hyluronate is the main ingredient in filler used to treat loss of facial volume and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid doesn't easily penetrate the skin when it's applied topically, so it is most successful when injected into the dermis of the skin through fillers. Sodium hyaluronate is smaller than hyaluronic acid and is able to move more freely into the deeper layers of the skin.  It is a powerful humectant that attracts and holds on to water, making it the ultimate skin moisturizer. This helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist and supple. Because it attracts and binds to water, it causes slight swelling. This swelling helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and gives skin a more youthful appearance. In addition, the subtle swelling increases volume, which makes skin look younger.  No wonder it has became so popular in anti-aging and moisturizer products.

Rhamnose, the other main ingredient, has been proven to stimulate derm activity.  Together with mica, these three main ingredient promise you to "open"your eyes.

Have no complain about the packaging (I love the color!) except the pump that releases too much products.  So be careful when you pump it or simply use the excess products on your forehead, smile lines and neck.

The texture is light and almost watery.  It can be lil bit runny if I put it after my moisturizer and need a little time to absorb well.  The best thing is doesn't make my eye area look greasy nor oily.  I love the smell and I use it religiously at morning and before sleep.   In a few weeks I notice it did improve my eye area.  My eye area feels tighter and my fine lines under my eyes looks better because of the illmuminating minerals (though The effect is not fantastic enough in a picture).  Since I don't really have any problem with dark circles im not very sure it will work for this problem.

So far I enjoy using this serum, maybe I will post my before after pic after next month.  This serum also works well under my foundie and concealer so it is totally fine to wear it under your makeup.

Enough for today, hope this post helps!
